It’s a good, solid phone made by HTC.

Look at the myTouch. It has more internal RAM than the G1. It can be upgraded to Android 2.x The downside is that you only get a on-screen keyboard.
Video – yes
Flash – I believe so. YouTubes play
Multi-Touch – no Google Cyanomod
Verizon Droid has a faster processor and a 2.x android OS. The G1 and myTouch run android 1.6.
You can also look at the Motorola Cliq, the Samsung Behold 2, the Google Nexus One (which is an HTC phone)

guys i jus want to is it a good idea to swatch a sidekick 2009 for a g1 because i was origanlly supposed to get the driod but i couldnt switch from tmobile to verzion and pluys to side kicks are getting old and the g1 has andriod and thats what i want but is it worth it ?
does the g1 have video capture on camera , flash on browser , muti touch
And what is different between the g1 and th verizon driod in terms of andriod style web and video
